The Ethics Commission is composed of eight members individually appointed by the Mayor and each Councilmember. They have the duty to review and investigate complaints involving conflicts of interest filed against officers of the City; and may hold hearings and issue sanctions, when appropriate, in accordance with the City of Georgetown Ethics Ordinance.

Meeting Date, Time, and Location:

The Ethics Commission will meet once a year unless otherwise specified.  The meeting date, time, and location will be indicated on the agenda posting.  Locations vary.
