Zoning Board of Adjustment

The Zoning Board of Adjustment is a board appointed to hear and grant requests for Variances from the zoning standards of the Unified Development Code (UDC).  This Board also makes decisions regarding requests for Special Exceptions from the UDC standards and considers applicant Appeals of Administrative Decisions.  This is a quasi-judicial board and any appeal of its decision must be taken to a court of law.  More information about the Planning Department  is available at https://planning.georgetown.org/

Meeting Date, Time, & Location:

This Board meets only as needed, generally on the 3rd Tuesday of a month at City Council Chambers, 101 E. 7th Street, Georgetown, Texas.  The meeting date and time is determined each year at the first meeting after a new Board is appointed.
