Strategic Partnerships for Community Services Grant Funding

The City of Georgetown is now accepting applications from eligible 501(c)3 agencies for Strategic Partnerships for Community Services Grant Funding for the City’s 2020-21 fiscal year, which begins October 1, 2020.

To apply for funds, the attached application form and supplemental materials should be filled out and submitted no later than June 1, 2020 (deadline date). Funding decisions will be made by the City Council in compliance with the attached Policy and Funding Guidelines subject to the availability of funds.

The Policies and Guidelines are attached for your information. The minimum grant that can be applied for is $10,000 and the maximum grant that can be applied for is $50,000.

Additionally, the City Council has an established Strategic Partnerships for Community Services (SPCS) Advisory Board and this Advisory Board will review all of the applications that are received. The SPCS Advisory Board will then make funding recommendations to the City Council for potential approval in the FY 2020-21 Grant Cycle. Please review the Policy and Guidelines, the instructions for the Grant Application and the Program Budget very carefully to ensure that ALL sections of the Grant Application and Program Budget are completed in their entirety in accordance with the instructions.  The Applications will be reviewed based on the agencies’ eligibility per the Policy and Guidelines, as well as the completeness of the applications. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR FUNDING.

THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING APPLICATIONS IS MONDAY JUNE 1, 2020 BY 5 P.M.  LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
